We are pleased to offer our fabulous home raised F1b Shihpoo and will be able to leave on or after 17th December at 12 weeks old and fully vaccinated.
An F1b dog is a cross between an F1 dog (Toy Poodle x Shih Tzu) crossed back with purebred parent (Toy Poodle). Small yet sturdy, approx. 11 inches to the shoulder they will be small dogs. (9-11 inches). They are not miniatures (12-14"). There are also health benefits such as a straighter jaw and less or no over/underbite.
Mum, Ada is our 3yo home bred F1 Shihpoo and this is her first litter. She has done amazing and has taken it all in her stride. She is the daughter of our pedigree standard Shih Tzu Daisy (we have 5 generations of Shih Tzu in our family).
Ada is a sweet happy gentle soul who is very in tune to her human, always eager to please and very very loving.
She is fully health tested for 214 genetic conditions, all of which are clear (all of our girls have clear health tests). This means that all puppies are free from these genetic conditions. We have also further tested a pup and have additional confirmation that they are completely free from any genetic and hereditary conditions.
The Stud. A handsome, loving, calm 2.5yo Toy Poodle named Elvis. Much thought has/was taken when choosing the Merle stud. He is health tested and PRA clear.
Puppies have had the best loving start in life with no expense spared and are well balanced happy puppies... They have been weaned onto Royal Canin puppy Mouse and now fully weaned onto AVA Vet approved optimum health puppy kibble (this has more nutritional value than Royal Canin puppy kibble) and have completed their worming program at 2,4,6,8 weeks with Panacur.
We are experienced breeders of Shihpoos and Shih Tzus. Puppies are raised in the family home environment alongside our daily living and used to normal everyday noises and Music.
Living in house, alongside us every day they really are our fur babies too. They are never left alone so we would want to know that they will not have long periods on their own, access to an outside space and that you understand the absolute necessity of regular grooming for this breed. Shihpoo MUST be regularly groomed by a professional every few months to prevent uncomfortable painful matting AND they will need their coat combed as often as possible as part of their weekly routine to keep their coat soft and comfortable. We have been brushing them regularly, so they are used to this and we will show you how to properly line brush a dog.

They now have the run of the house with us in the day and are very easy to settle at night in their area at night where they listen to smooth jazz from Alexa and associate it with settling down time (a trick we learnt). We also aim to have the pups potty trained, at least to pad, by the time they leave and have had success with that with previous litters.
We have also crate trained them and they are used to going in their crate to sleep however the door is always open as it is within their area.
Mother will be viewed with puppies, along with the rest of the gang Daisy (mother), Sassy (aunt) and Gracie (half sister).
Puppies will be micro chipped, health checked, flea, wormed and FULLY vaccinated with certificates before they leave on or after 17th Dec 2024 (we do not let our pups go before they are fully vaccinated).

We also qualify to give 4 weeks free insurance with Petplan on collection and puppies leave with an extensive puppy pack which includes:
• Vet check certificates x 2, vaccination and microchip information
• Copy of stud clear health test.
• Copy of health tests results. Ada and Pup
• Important dates information (DOB- Next worming date etc)
• 4 weeks free insurance with Petplan
• Bag of Ava Puppy food
• Treats they like for the journey home
• Good quality smelly blanket to help them settle in
• VERY smelly couple of their favourite toys
• Contract and invoice of sale

We offer a lifetime of support, as much or as little as needed and have a small online community where our clients can show off their pups and interact with each other. We like to stay in touch and appreciate little updates about how they are doing and getting along.
