Hungarian Vizsla hobby breeder in Waltham St Lawrence | Nicholas Renals

We are a family who breed Hungarian Vizsla’s and German Shorthaired Pointers as a hobby. 

We have only ever bred small litters of puppies ourselves sporadically - on average once every 2 years for the past 20yrs. 

We have stud dogs who are health tested for hips/eyes/dna and sperm count tested standing at stud in 2025. We stud them out for a semen purchase stud fee (which is around the sale value of one puppy) or we are gifted one of the pups from our stud dogs litters free of charge in return for supplying semen. 

We do not own the rest of the litters of puppies sired by our stud dogs or benefit financially from their sale. 

We stay updated and comply with animal welfare legislation and our local councils dog breeding licensing regulations.   

Our dogs are well trained and well socialised and they live in our home as pets. Our dogs often travel with us on our uk hiking and camping holidays often staying in uk hotels, uk self-catering cottages, and our touring caravan.
