Full Description
I am pleased to announce that Harriet Haws (Purdey) is expecting a litter of at least 8 pups due the 26th April. She has been bred with Dunveoch Starman of Disglairhill (Duke) - both parents having working champions in their pedigree. This will be Purdey's second and final litter. We will be expecting a mix of liver and white pups as well as solid liver pups.
Purdey has a hip-score of 5/5 and Duke a hip-score of 2/3. Duke has also been heart tested - clear (Grade 0) and eye tested - clear (unaffected).
Purdey stands at 22.5 inches to the withers.
Duke stands at 24.5 inches to the withers.
Their in-breeding co-efficient is 3.4% (compared with the breed average of 5.1%)
The pups will have been legally docked, dew-claws removed, wormed, microchipped and have had their first vaccinations when they are ready to leave for their new homes. Each pup will leave with at least a week's supply food, 5 week’s free insurance, a blanket with their mothers’ scent and guidance on continuation of their worming regime. They will be raised in a busy household and regularly handled, so will be well accustomed to noise. I will also introduce them to ball-play at an early age to get a head-start on developing drive.
All prospective homes will be vetted - It is important for myself that these pups find suitable homes that can meet the breeds requirements. Therefore I will not be accepting anyone who lacks sufficient time to give to the dog, and all owners must be aware of the demands of a working breed such as a GSP.
We expect that the pups will be able to leave for their new homes from around Friday 21st June and could be initially viewed from Friday 24th May. Also to note: the pups will likely have completed their full course of vaccinations with yourselves around the 12th July - ideal for anyone looking to enjoy the Summer holidays with their new pup. A deposit of 20% will be required upon viewing and selecting your pup, and for your peace if mind, a contract with confirmation of deposit will be given to yourself.
Throughout the whole 8 weeks I will also be uploading many 4k photographs and videos to a Google Drive account to give any prospective buyers regular updates on the pups and material to look back on for the first couple months of their lives.
There will also be more images and videos of both parents on here for you to look at as well. If you wish to see these then I will just need your email address to give you access to these files.
There will also be an option for all owners to join a WhatsApp group to keep up to date with how the other pups are doing and see their adventures.
Please don't hesitate to contact me at 07909776401 or ****.
Thanks, Tom.
