INTERNATIONAL SHEEP DOG SOCIETY (ISDS) PEDIGREE REGISTERED
BORDER COLLIE PUPPIES FOR SALE
We have a litter of traditional black and white border collie puppies for sale. 3 females and 1 male available. Born on 7th December 2024 and will be ready to go to their new homes on 1st February when they are 8 weeks old. There are 3 boys and 4 girls in the litter, all are long coated and very traditionally marked.
The dam and sire are both owned by us. Both dogs work on our family farm with sheep, pigs and cattle and have fantastic temperaments. They are very much part of the family and all of our dogs have been brought up with children, as have the puppies. Both parents are extremely loyal and are very placid in temperament; they are both very trainable and very capable.
The puppies are very well bred and would make great dogs for trialling, agility, obedience, farming or just a great family pet in an active home. This is a repeat mating and we are keeping one from this litter to train to work our sheep.
The pup’s Sire is Killiebrae Beau 00/331388.
Beau was black and white and rough coated.
Beau was son to Killiebrae Laddie. Killiebrae Laddie 262753 was winner of the English Nationals in 2008 and is CEA DNA Normal. His dam is Tip 00/319047 who is a daughter of Mirk 00/302408. Mirk was placed 9th in the English National in 2012 and 6th in the International 2012.
His Grand Sire Jim 248214 was placed 12th in the English Nationals in 2004
His Great Grand Sire Sweep 198150 was 5th in the English Nationals in 1996 and his Great Grand Dam Lyn 227341 was 2nd in the English Nationals in 2004, 5th in 2003 and 9th in 2000.
The pup’s sire has been DNA tested and is CEA Normal and has been hip scored with a score of 9 (4/5).
The pup’s Dam is Killiebrae Ice 00/346656
Ice is black and white and medium coated. The happiest and friendliest dog you could ever meet! She loves to work our sheep, has a super outrun and is very useful in the sheep pen. She loves our farm pigs but is equally happy to play ball or sit by the fire!
Ice is eye tested normal for CEA.
Both Mum and Dad have been eye tested under ISDS rules and both tested clear with no abnormalities.
Puppies will be ISDS registered and will come with ISDS registration certificate and a 6 generation pedigree certificate. The puppies will be registered under our ‘Westwood’ prefix. Puppies can also be registered with the Kennel Club, we can help new owners to do this but the cost of Kennel Club registration is an additional cost.
All pups have been regularly wormed from two weeks old and will be microchipped before they leave us. The puppies also have 4 weeks puppy insurance and will be sent to their new homes with a puppy pack which will include a comfort blanket and a small supply of puppy food.
Viewings are more than welcome.
A deposit will be required to secure each puppy.
